Christopher Weiss is a part-time patent paralegal for the firm. He joined Michael Blaine Brooks, P.C., initially as a law school intern in June 2010 (after auditing - as a first year law student - the upper division patent law class taught by Dr. Brooks at Pepperdine Law School), and immediately began proofreading draft patent applications and other patent-related documents, generating and proofing patent drawings, and assisting our patent attorneys in responding to Patent Office actions. Mr. Weiss graduated with a B.S., cum laude, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY. He is finishing his third year of law school at Pepperdine Law School, and has passed the "patent bar" examination. Outside of work, his hobbies involve reading cases, running, creating short films, and hopelessly explicating the intricacies of intellectual property themed humor.
